The end

Too bad that this spectacular trip was coming to an end. It was a unique experience that changed my life. I’m sure I had the chance to be in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I worked in agriculture for the first time in my life. But definitely, the highlight of my trip was sharing for several months my life with the Maori tribe. They are actually very friendly people. I was accepted in their community, they taught me their hunting techniques, language and culture. I even got a Maori tattoo.
This year in New Zealand showed me a new angle of life. And I believe that this is one of the most important things that can happen in your life.

Excursions

I took a taxi to my hotel (where I was going to stay just one night). I woke up at 5 o'clock in the morning to begin my three days tour to three different locations in this small but beautiful country.
Day 1:
The alarm clock snoozes at four o'clock and then my life in New Zealand, starts.
I take the bus that was waiting for my group and start travelling south; to Dunedin.
I have a great breakfast and then take a nice walk along the coast, until 2 o'clock. Then stop for a quick lunch, and go to Olveston house which is amazing. Around 4 in the afternoon, I go to Otago Peninsula to see penguins.

After that great visit, we take the bus to Westport, where we spend the night.

Day 2:
The alarm clock snoozes at seven o'clock and after a breakfast, we go to Underworld Adventures Cave Rafting, the most beautiful experience ever. Crystal clear water, a place full of peace...
Then in the afternoon I go to Punakaiki Horse Treks, where I visit the beautiful scenery riding a horse and I learn many things about this region.

We take the bus and we travel all night to Bay of Island

Day 3:

The driver wakes us up to get on time to our next tour. We get on a small boat and sail all day through the Bay. We see dolphins and enjoy a beautiful landscape.

My first impression

After a long and turbulent flight, I arrived at 6, 45 pm to the Wellington International Airport. When I arrived, I was really excited! I couldn't believe that my dream to travel to New Zealand came true! I was so happy that felt like living in a dream.  I went for my bags and left the airport quickly so I could start my travel.
The beginning of A NEW CHAPTER IN MY LIFE.
